MEMPHIS – The Memphis women's tennis team went unbeaten in doubles and won three of four singles matches on the opening day of play at the Samford Round Robin, Friday.
In doubles, the team of and prevailed in a 7-5 match against Southern Miss' Claudia Castella and Tzu-Hui Chen while teammates and defeated USM's Tjasa Jerse and Elena Roca, 6-4.
Wind remains unbeaten in singles in her return from injury with a 6-1, 6-2 win in singles over Roca. also added a straight set win in her match at Flight 2, downing Jerse, 6-3, 6-2.
