MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Memphis women's tennis provided a strong showing it its first event of the fall season at the 44th annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic.
The Tigers turned in five singles wins throughout the weekend, including a pair of ranked victories.
"The Milwaukee Classic was a great event with a very strong field," head coach Hayden Perez said. "The tough competition was really good for the girls, and this was a chance for me to see them compete and learn about their games. We picked up a couple wins against nationally-ranked opponents, and hopefully that's a sign of good things to come this year.
