MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis women's tennis team (2-0) picked up a 6-1 road win at Lipscomb (1-3), Saturday, in non-conference play.
Memphis grabbed wins at two and three doubles to win the doubles point, then , and sealed the win with singles victories. With just four indoor courts, the match was decided when freshmen Josephine and took to the courts for their matches at five and six.
Memphis will stay in middle Tennessee and will play Chattanooga, Sunday, at 10 a.m. in Murfreesboro.
