TEMPE, Ariz. – Rain in Tempe has resulted in canceling the Memphis women's tennis match at Arizona State Sunday.
Overnight showers initially postponed the contest. Conditions did not allow for the rain-soaked courts at Whiteman Tennis Center to dry before the match was canceled.
Memphis will return to action next weekend for a pair of conference matches in New Orleans. The Tigers will play ECU in a neutral-site contest Friday before a matchup against Tulane on Saturday.
