MEMPHIS – The Memphis women's tennis team will host VCU, Friday, at noon, at The Racquet Club of Memphis. The match is part of a two-match home weekend that will include a Sunday contest against in-state foe Middle Tennessee as part of Memphis' senior day festivities for senior .
The return to action comes after an almost two week break in competitions for Memphis. Memphis last played on Mar. 12, falling 4-1 to visiting Iowa State. But the one Tiger point in that match belonged to Hughes with her win at two singles. As her Memphis career winds down, she will look to close with more wins at home with two opportunities this weekend.
