MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Memphis women's tennis team (3-2) fell 4-0 in a neutral site match against Missouri (7-2) Saturday. The Tigers will stay in Minneapolis for a Sunday match against host Minnesota, Sunday morning.
Missouri used wins at two and three doubles to build a 1-0 lead in the match, then closed out the victory with wins at two, four and five singles.
Anki Wind was trying to split sets when her match at one was halted with the team win sealed.
Memphis will close out the trip with a match against Minnesota, Sunday at 10 a.
