MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following a successful academic season, the Memphis women's tennis program was named an ITA All-Academic Team while four student-athletes were recognized as ITA Scholar Athletes, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced Friday.
An ITA All-Academic Team award is eligible for any program that reaches a cumulative team GPA of 3.20 or higher during the 2018-19 academic year. Scholar Athlete status is awarded to student-athletes who have lettered, have a GPA of 3.50 or higher and have been enrolled in their current institution for at least two semesters.
