BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Memphis women's tennis turned in its third consecutive win behind a 5-2 performance Saturday afternoon at Samford.
For the second time this weekend, the Tigers (8-6) used doubles to establish momentum. Three straight-set wins in singles then sealed the win.
"Doubles continues to improve, and that is helping us," Head Coach said. "We anticipated a very competitive match with Samford and it was. This team is really growing right now and finding ways to compete even when they aren't playing their best. That is the sign of a good team and good competitors.
