MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's tennis team completed a perfect weekend with a 5-2 win over Lipscomb (7-3), Sunday.
"Lipscomb is a great team," head coach Hayden Perez said. "They are tough and we knew that going in, but our team had a very positive approach to the match and it showed on the court. I felt like we competed well on every court, win or lose."
Memphis took an early 1-0 lead with wins at two and three doubles. Katherine Cao and Hannah Davies got the first Tiger win of the day, 6-2, at two.
