MEMPHIS, Tenn. – With 11 days of training camp and an exhibition in the books, Memphis women's soccer will have one final preseason tune-up when the Tigers face Vanderbilt in Nashville on Saturday at 6 p.m.
The Tigers, who open the regular season on Thursday, blanked Southeast Missouri, 2-0, on Monday in their first exhibition of the fall. The squad played three 30-minutes periods and knocked off the rust with a pair of goals early in the contest.
"Our plan was to give everyone who was healthy at least 30 minutes, and that's what we did," head coach said.
