CINCINNATI, Ohio – The University of Memphis women's soccer team endured a hard-fought battle Sunday afternoon that resulted in a 0-0 double-overtime draw against No. 17 Cincinnati. The Tigers are now 10-5-2 overall and 4-2-2 in conference play.
"Cincinnati plays with their hearts on their sleeve," said head coach Brooks Monaghan. "They are very physical and direct. They have players that really suit their system. They are by far one of the most difficult teams to play in this conference for a reason and they've only allowed seven goals this season for a reason.
