MEMPHIS, Tenn. – With a week of preseason practice in the books, the Memphis women's soccer team is preparing for a pair of exhibition matches this weekend. The Tigers will travel to Mississippi State for a 7 p.m. match on Friday before hosting Vanderbilt Sunday at noon at the Park Avenue Campus.
"I think we are at a good place where we are in preseason. The group has been working extremely hard. They are truly focused," Monaghan said. "We have the right people stepping up into a leadership role and I think they are setting a very good example for our newcomers.
