Women’s Soccer Falls To Gonzaga To End West Coast Trip

SPOKANE, Wash. – The No. 23 University of Memphis women's soccer team returns to Memphis after falling to Gonzaga by a score of 3-2 Sunday. Memphis falls to 6-3 on the year and will return back to action at home this upcoming weekend.

After Gonzaga took a 1-0 lead after seven minutes of play, Sydney Kingston scored her first goal of the season and second of her career in the 28th minute to equalize the match at 1-1. Kingston's goal was a header off of a free kick by Jessica Lisi.
