MEMPHIS – Second round play in the San Diego State University March Mayhem tournament was suspended due to darkness. Memphis was playing its first match in the consolation bracket after falling to third-seeded Arizona in the first round.
In the opening round against No. 9 ranked Arizona, Memphis fell 5-0, but stood tough with the Wildcats. The Wildcats' Haley Moore downed 5&3, while teammate Jessica Vasilic downed 3&1. Gigi Stoll edged 2&1. fell 4&2 to Lindsey Weaver and Colwill was 1-down in her opening round match.
In the second round, also the first in the consolation bracket, Memphis was facing number 15 Cal.
