TAMPA – The University of Memphis women's golf team is in fourth place at the end of day one of the Old Friends Invitational at Tampa Palms Golf & Country Club. The Lady Tigers are four strokes behind third place James Madison with a day one 613 (300-313).
Two Tigers in Top 10
Victoria Gallegos, who ended the fall with a top 10 finish at the Jim West Invitational, is working on a top five finish now, standing fifth at 149 (+5). Gallegos fired a 73 in her opening round and a 76 in the second to end day one in the top five.
