DALLAS, Texas – The University of Memphis women's golf team closed out its first tournament of the year with a sixth-place finish at the SMU Trinity Forest Invitational, Tuesday. After going 296-300 in the opening two rounds, Memphis carded a 299 in the final round to finish at 895 (+31), two strokes ahead of Kansas State and 18 ahead of league foe Tulane.
