MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis women's golf team won its match play contest on Tuesday against Delaware in the San Diego State University March Mayhem tournament, 3.5-1.5. Senior and sophomore each won their respective matches 2&1 and , and were all square at the end of their days to move to a fourth round match against UC Davis, Wednesday.
Memphis started Tuesday morning needing to finish off the second round, which was called due to darkness. Against Cal, Memphis fell 4-1. Thomas and Colwill were both even in their matches to post the Tigers' point, but it wasn't enough to move Memphis in to the next level bracket.
