MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis women's golf team started the day with a one stroke lead and were holding on to that one stroke lead when they made the turn on to 10 at Ridgeway Country Club when the team turned on the afterburners and stretched that lead to a 17-stroke win of the Memphis Women's Intercollegiate, Tuesday.
Memphis placed three golfers in the top 10, including a third place finish for (220) and a fourth place finish for (221). The third place finish for Fletcher was her best finish of the season as she finally got a chance to play in the Lady Tigers' lone home event for the first time in three seasons.
