MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's basketball team won its fourth-straight game Thursday afternoon with a 57-48 win over Grambling State at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. The win improved Memphis to 5-8 on the year heading into the Holiday Break.
How It Happened
In a first half of runs, Memphis ended up with the edge at intermission. Memphis started the game on a 5-0 run before Grambling State answered with an 8-0 run of its own.
The next run came for Memphis as the Tigers regained the lead on a 10-0 run with help from Breigha Wilder-Cochran, Cheyenne Creighton, Brea Elmore and Brianna Porter.
