MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In its first overtime game of the 2016-17 season, the University of Memphis women's basketball team fell to Temple by a score of 73-67 Sunday evening. The Tigers fall to 7-7 on the year and 0-1 in American Athletic Conference play.
How It Happened
Memphis got off to a fast start from beyond the arc, hitting its first two to take a 6-3 lead on the visiting Owls. The Tigers then built up its first quarter lead to as many as seven, 10-3, on a pair of free throws by Taylor Wililams and a lay-up by Taylor Barnes.
