Tigers' 7-foot-1 freshman center is among 40 up for National Player of the Year honors
University of Memphis 7-foot-1 freshman center James Wiseman has been named to the Lute Olson Award preseason Watch List.
The Lute Olson Award is presented annually to the nation's top Division I player. The watch list was announced Tuesday, when Wiseman made his college debut by scoring 28 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in a 97-64 victory over South Carolina State.
