MEMPHIS – Junior quarterback Brady White was named one of 16 semifinalists for the Davey O'Brien Award Wednesday. In 2019, White ranks in the top 10 nationally in three different categories and in the top 20 in seven. He ranks sixth in the NCAA in yards per pass attempt (10.3) and seventh in passing efficiency (182.2) and yards per completion (15.31).
His 23 passing touchdowns ranks 14th in the NCAA and his 2,511 total yards is 18th among FBS quarterbacks.
So far in 2019, White has four 300-plus yard passing games.
