MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis freshman Daija Lowe knocked down eight kills, but No. 20 Wichita State came away with a 3-0 American Athletic Conference victory over the Tigers Wednesday. The Shockers won the match by scores of 25-18, 25-10 and 25-15.
With the setback, the Tigers fell to 10-21 overall and 3-16 in the American Athletic Conference. Wichita State improved to 27-3 overall and a perfect 19-0 in the league.
The match was the regular-season home finale for Memphis in 2017, and also the final career home match for four seniors.
