MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis freshman had a double-double performance Friday, but it wasn't enough as the Tigers fell to Cincinnati 3-1 in American Athletic Conference action at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
The Bearcats won the match by scores of 24-26, 25-16, 25-21 and 25-18. The setback puts Memphis' record at 10-12 overall and 3-7 in the league. Cincinnati improves to 19-5 overall and 9-1 in the conference.
Murrihy posted her ninth double-double of the season with 42 assists and 10 digs.
The match also featured two of the league's top hitters and blockers.
