ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The University of Memphis men's golf team tied for eighth place at The Johnnie-O at Sea Island on the Seaside Course at the Sea Island Club in St. Simons Island, Ga. on Tuesday with a team score of 864 (+24).
No. 25-ranked Kansas State won the 13-team tournament with a total of 839 (-1). The tournament featured six of the top-50 ranked teams in the nation.
"It was a solid final round today in the toughest conditions of the week," head coach Blake Smart said.
