MEMPHIS, Tennessee – After a week of wins, the University of Memphis men's soccer team landed two student-athletes on the American Athletic Conference's weekly awards list. Senior forward Sam Ashton and junior midfielder Christoforos Kourtis were both named to the Weekly Honor Roll for their roles during the past week.
Ashton lands on the list after netting three goals and registering one assist, helping Memphis pick up a pair of wins. Against Saint Louis, Ashton bookended the scoring for the Tigers, giving them the first goal of the match before putting in the game-winner in the 68th minute.
