Trio of Tigers Named AAC Sport Scholar-Athletes of the Year

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Tiger student-athletes Maxi Galizzi (men's soccer), Elizabeth Moberg (women's soccer) and Gracie Morton (softball) have been named American Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes of the Year for their respective sports.

Each receives a $2,000 scholarship to help with graduate or professional studies. This marks the fourth consecutive year at least two Tigers have earned this award for his or her sport. The award winners were chosen by the member schools' Faculty Athletic Representatives.

Galizzi is working towards his Master of Business Administration degree after completing his undergraduate work with honors at Christian Brothers University before transferring to Memphis.
