IRVING, Texas – University of Memphis track and field's Jamaya Fleming and Adam Neelly have been named to the American Athletic Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Executive Board for the 2020-21 school year, the league office announced Thursday.
Fleming, a junior, is the Board's coordinator of public relations, and Neelly, a senior, is serving as the Board's coordinator of student-athlete engagement.
The American SAAC serves as the voice of student-athletes who represent the Conference's 12 member institutions. The mission of SAAC is to improve communication for all student-athletes at each member school as well as enhance communications between the institutions.
