MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis track and field had 11 athletes qualify to compete in the preliminary round of the 2022 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the East Regional in Bloomington, Ind.
Hosted by Indiana University, events are slated to begin Wednesday morning and will end Saturday evening with track events.
All eleven qualifiers for the Tigers competed in the American Athletic Conference Championship less than two weeks ago, where several brought home titles and medals.
DeeNia McMiller accounted for three of the 12 medals for the Tigers, with her conference-record titles in the women's hammer and shot put and also a silver in the discus.
