BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – University of Memphis' and both won gold and and added two silvers to lead the Tigers track and field team in final-day action at the 2020 American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships Saturday. The Birmingham CrossPlex hosted the two-day meet.
Machairas took home gold in the men's shot put, and Wesner did the same in the men's long jump. On the women's side, McMiller won her second silver of the meet with a second-place finish in the shot put. She also placed second in the weight throw on Friday. Perkins won her silver in the 400 meters.
