CARBONDALE, Ill. – Junior Saida Burns-Moore tied her career-high as a Tiger and placed second in the women's high jump to lead the University of Memphis track and field squads in first-day action at the third-annual Don DeNoon Invitational Friday evening.
Burns-Moore jumped a height of 5-6.5 (1.65m). The jump tied her career-best which she set at last year's Arkansas State Invitational (placed second). Friday's second-place performance was the sixth time she finished in the top-three in nine career indoor high jump events.
