MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis track and field is set to compete in two different meets Friday, just one week before the indoor American Athletic Conference championships.
A portion of the team will travel to the Redhawks Open, hosted by Southeast Missouri State University. Competition will begin at the Southeast Student Recreation Center at 3:30 p.m. and will end later that night after sprinting events. The Tigers will be competing in throws and sprints.
At the second meet, some jumpers and vault athletes will compete at the Arkansas Qualifier in Fayetteville, Ark. Events kick off at 1 p.
