TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The history-making 2016 season continues for the University of Memphis women's cross country team.
On Friday, the Tigers posted their best NCAA South Region Championships finish in program history, placing 10 overall out of a field of 30 squads. Mississippi State led six Southeastern Conference teams in the top-10 in winning the NCAA South Region Championships team crown.
The women's championships event was a 6k race held at Apalachee Regional Park. Florida State served as the NCAA South Region Championships host.
In addition, senior and junior recorded top-20 performances and both earned All-South Region honors.
