MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The 34th-ranked Memphis Tiger men's tennis team won the Arizona State Invite over the weekend, taking down New Mexico, Cal Poly and host Arizona State in Tempe, Ariz.
"Our guys have been working hard, and it was nice to see some payoff by earning wins against a very strong field," Memphis head coach Paul Goebel said. "It was a true team effort, and this should give us some positive momentum heading into the second half of the season."
Memphis (8-2) defeated New Mexico on Friday, 4-0, Cal Poly on Saturday, 4-0, and Arizona State on Sunday, 4-2.
