Auburn Invitational/Tournament Central Link
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For the first time in the 2016 season, the University of Memphis volleyball squad takes to the road when it plays in the Auburn Invitational this weekend.
Memphis opens play in the two-day tournament Friday, Sept. 9 when it meets host Auburn in a 12 p.m. (CT) match. Later on Friday, the Tigers face Jacksonville University at 5 p.m. (CT). The following day, Memphis and Miami, Ohio, play at 11 a.m. (CT).
The Tigers (4-2 record) enter the Auburn Invitational with some momentum after winning last weekend's Tiger Invitational with victories over Jackson State, Eastern Illinois and Louisiana Tech.
