BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – University of Memphis freshman recorded a season high for kills and senior added four service aces to lift the Tigers to a 3-0 victory over Louisiana at UAB's Fight Like Hal Memorial Invitational Friday afternoon.
Memphis returns to action against host UAB Friday night at 7 p.m. (CT).
The Tigers won the match by scores of 25-18, 25-14 and 25-20. With the win, Memphis improved to 6-4. The Ragin' Cajuns fell to 2-11.
"This was a nice team win," said head coach . "It was great to see us execute some things we focused on in practice this week.
