TULSA, Okla. – The second-seeded Memphis Tiger men's tennis team advanced to the title match of the 2022 American Athletic Conference Championship with a 4-3 victory over third-seeded and No. 37 Tulsa Saturday afternoon in Tulsa, Okla.
No. 36 Memphis (16-6) will face top-seeded and No. 26 SMU Sunday at noon for the title. The match can be seen on ESPN+.
"Today was another exciting tennis match and a great team win by our team," Memphis head coach Paul Goebel said. "We played a super doubles point, and getting that one proved to be important in our 4-3 victory.
