Tigers Top Tulane to Win Series in Run-Rule Fashion

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team defeated Tulane, 12-2, in seven innings to win its final American Athletic Conference series of the season at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field on Senior Day on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers walked 15 times to tie a program record (Middle Tennessee, 1998).

With the win, the Tigers improve to 28-26 (10-14 AAC) on the season. The Green Wave fell to 15-39 (8-16) on the year with the win. 28 wins for Memphis is the most in a season since 2017.

"Great job by our guys today to come out and rebound after what happened yesterday," head coach Kerrick Jackson said.
