Tigers Top No. 10 SMU in Thrilling Fashion

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After No. 10 SMU took a 2-1 lead in the 87th minute, the Memphis Tigers regrouped, tied the game 30 seconds later and ended up securing a hard-fought, 3-2 overtime win over the Mustangs Saturday night in Memphis, Tenn.

The Tigers have won three-straight games and improve to 4-6-1 overall and 3-2-0 in American Athletic Conference action. SMU falls to 6-2-2 and 3-2-0, and Memphis is now tied with the Mustangs for third in conference action.
