MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Behind scoring rounds of 295, 286, and 298, the Memphis Tigers placed fifth of 13 teams at the 2017 Memphis Intercollegiate, hosted at Colonial Country Club.
Memphis' three-round score of 879 put them 15 strokes over par for the 54 holes. Middle Tennessee State won the tournament with a three-round score of 868, while Arkansas State finished a stroke behind at 869. Little Rock (872) and Western Kentucky (873) took third and fourth in the strong field. Georgetown (881), UT Martin (883), Stetson (892), Fort Wayne (898), Belmont (901), Western Carolina (910), IUPUI (917), and Tennessee State (926) rounded out the 13 teams in the field.
