PORTLAND, Ore. – The Memphis Tigers earned the program's first NCAA Tournament victory since 2014 on Thursday afternoon, as the ninth-seeded Tigers took down the eighth-seeded Boise State Broncos, XX-XX, at the Moda Center in Portland, Ore.
No. 9-seeded Memphis (22-10) will play the winner of overall number-one seed Gonzaga and 16th-seeded Georgia State on Saturday, March 19 at the Moda Center in Portland, Ore. Time and broadcast information for the game will be announced later on Thursday.
