OXFORD, Miss. – The Memphis Tigers men's tennis squad earned an impressive road win over No. 17 Ole Miss Monday night in Oxford, Miss., 4-3.
The Tigers improved to 2-0 on the season with the victory.
"This was a tremendous team effort to pull out a tough road win," Tigers head coach Paul Goebel said. "Ole Miss is a very well-coached team, and we knew it would be a tough match going into it. I'm very proud of how we competed in pressure situations. It is still early in the season and we have a lot of tough matches ahead, but this was a positive start.
