THIBODAUX, La. – The University of Memphis baseball team took down Nicholls in game one of a three-game series, 3-2, on Friday night at Ray E. Didier Field. Senior lefty Dalton Fowler earned the win for the Tigers and junior left-hander Dalton Kendrick picked up his third save of the season.
With the win, Memphis has now won five-straight games and sits at 8-2 on the season – improving on the best start to a season for the Tigers since 2014.
