Tigers sweep Vanderbilt to finish perfect weekend

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After a 6-1 win at Clemson Friday night, the Memphis men's tennis team swept Vanderbilt, 4-0, Sunday afternoon in Nashville, Tenn.

The Tigers improved to 4-1 on the season with the win.

Memphis' doubles teams of Jan Pallares/Patrick Sydow and James Story/Jeremy Taylor started the match with wins to give the Tigers the opening point. Pallares/Sydow are now 4-0 in doubles this season.

Right off the bat in singles, David Stevenson, Pallares, and Oscar Cutting took their contests from the 2-4 spots in straight sets to seal the victory for Memphis.
