Tigers Split Weekend in Minnesota

Box Score 1 MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Memphis women's tennis came away with a win Sunday afternoon to split its weekend matches in Minneapolis.

The Tigers bounced back Sunday with a 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Gophers on their home court after suffering a 4-1defeat Saturday to No. 36 Utah. The victory halted a six-match skid and improved the Tigers to 2-9.

Memphis took the advantage with the doubles point against the Utes after Aran Teixido Garcia and Emily Meyer clinched 6-4 at the top line. In singles, however, Utah swept its first three matches before closing out the match 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 on court three.
