STORRS, Conn. – After dropping game one of the doubleheader by a 1-0 margin, the University of Memphis softball team rallied in game two to defeat the Huskies by a score of 8-2. Memphis scored a season-high six runs in the top of the seventh inning capped by a grand slam by Regan Hadley en route to the victory in game two.
Memphis moves to 27-26 on the year and 6-11 in American Athletic Conference play.
A home run proved to be the difference in game one as offense was held at a minimum by both pitching staffs.
