Tigers Shoot Season-Low 285 in Final Round of The Maxwell

EDMOND, Okla. - The Memphis Tigers shot a season-low 285 in the final round of The Maxwell, hosted by the University of Oklahoma, placing 12th overall, and was the top team from the American Athletic Conference in the field.

Memphis' 285 was two strokes lower than the previous season-low of 287 set at the Quail Valley Collegiate during the fall season. The 285 gave Memphis a three-round total of 899, just behind 25th-ranked (Golfstat.com) Colorado with an 886. Among the teams Memphis finished ahead of was SMU (902) and East Carolina (913).

Second-ranked Oklahoma State took home the team title, with 48th-ranked New Mexico, 13th-ranked Oklahoma, third-ranked Baylor, and UCLA finished in the top-five in the field.
