MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Senior tied her career-best air rifle score and two other Tigers set personal bests, but it wasn't enough as the No. 9 nationally-ranked University of Memphis rifle squad dropped a 4693-4671 decision to No. 1 West Virginia Saturday.
Memphis hosted the three-time defending NCAA champion Mountaineers in the Bluff City. West Virginia took both disciplines, winning smallbore 2326-2316 and air rifle 2367-2355.
For the sixth time in her career, Lee tied her personal-high air rifle score with a 593 against West Virginia. She also posted her career second-best smallbore score of 583 for an aggregate score of 1176.
