MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Coming off winning its own Tiger Open, the University of Memphis rifle squad is back in action with an East Coast road swing Sunday and Monday.
The Tigers, ranked No. 10 in the latest Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) poll, make their first trip outside the Mid-South to face No. 14 Navy and No. 13 Army in Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) match-ups. Memphis shoots against the Mids in Annapolis, Md., Sunday, Oct. 9 and then travels to West Point, N.Y., to meet the Black Knights Monday, Oct. 10.
For Memphis, both matches provide early-season challenges.
