Tigers Rally for 5-3 Win over Cincinnati

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Chris Carrier had a solo home run and three RBI and the Tigers scored two runs in the eighth inning to rally for a 5-3 win over Cincinnati Friday night at FedExPark. The win for Memphis (19-36, 9-14 American) sets up a rubber match with Bearcats on Saturday at 1 p.m. for Senior Day.

The go-ahead run in the eighth inning was a wild one. Third baseman Zach Schritenthal singled with one out to start the rally. Second baseman Brandon Grudzielanek then singled with two outs and Schritenthal went first-to-third.
